Azhar Canada College teaches the curriculum of Al-Azhar University: each science in sequence, each text with a teacher. Two programs, full time and part time, are built around that same approach.
Full time
Diploma in Islamic Sciences
Sisters only
A structured, sequenced diploma for sisters studying full time, moving through Arabic, Tafsir, Hadith, and Fiqh in order, with a live teacher at every step.
- Monday to Friday, 9 am to 1:30 pm
- Online or in person
- Courses taught: Arabic, Tafsir, Hadith, and Fiqh
- Students can also study individual courses without committing to the full course load.

Part time
Diploma - Intro to Islamic Sciences
Open to everyone, no prerequisite
A welcoming, practical introduction to the Islamic sciences. You do not need a background in Islamic studies, and each course stands on its own.
- 1 lecture per week, 1.5 hours
- Each course runs 5 weeks (5 lectures), ending with an online multiple-choice exam
- Courses taught: Aqeedah, Tafsir of the last ten surahs, the sciences of Hadith, Quranic sciences, Sharia and contemporary times, and Fiqh
- Attend online, in person, or a hybrid of both.
