Azhar Canada College teaches the classical Islamic sciences in the curriculum of Al-Azhar University: with a teacher, in order, from the foundations up.

For a thousand years, students have travelled to study this curriculum. Now it is taught here: in person in Mississauga, and live online anywhere in Canada, by educators trained in the Azhari tradition.

How a course runs

One live lecture a week, for five weeks, then an exam.

Part-time courses run one 90-minute lecture a week for five weeks and end with an online exam. No prerequisites. The full-time diploma runs weekday mornings for sisters, in person or online. Both programs are taught live, and questions are expected.
